Here's another deep field image from JWST.

There's something pretty amazing hidden within it, which I'll talk about next.

But open up this image and lose yourself in this almost impossibly vast view of our Universe.

The six-pointed features are stars in the Milky Way. Everything else is a galaxy.

In case you were hoping for news updates from the Ontario Conservative convention this weekend (not to be confused with the Federal Conservative convention being held on the same weekend on Alberta), the Ontario Conservatives have banned reporters. #ontario #onpoli #dougford #frankdomenic🍁

🙏 Zelensky: Russia attacked a passenger train in the Kharkiv region. In any country, a drone strike on a civilian train would be viewed as terrorism.

In particular, there were more than 200 people on that train. And there were 18 people in the car that was hit. 4 people died…

“Epidemiological studies have begun to show a concerning trend: individuals with a history of COVID-19 infection are at an elevated risk for developing diabetes, often within months of recovery...” This has actually been known for years, but I’m glad to see more attention on it.
Unseen Post-COVID Diabetes: Causes and Forecasts
As we navigate through the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, one of the most alarming outcomes is the increasing prevalence of diabetes among those who have been infected with the virus.

“We can’t eliminate SARS.”

We can, and we did.

“Well poor countries can’t do it.”

Poor countries eliminate bad diseases all the time, with some outside help in the past. Yeah. Even airborne ones.

The only reason we have COVID-19 circulating is because rich countries said so.

Disappointing how many liberals *only now* realize we're sliding into fascism when we raised the alarms on Palestine & the ongoing eugenics of the pandemic response years ago...these same people have been silent about both

This is the most astonishing graph of what the Trump regime has done to US science. They have destroyed the federal science workforce across the board. The negative impacts on Americans will be felt for generations, and the US might never be the same again.

In short, Canada can’t govern big tech or hold them accountable if it continues down the path of gutting the public sector of the expertise and resources required to do so - and certainly not by bringing tech firms in to play that role themselves.

Trump's newest threat of 100% tariffs against Canada unless we follow his trade directives reinforces one thing: we cannot rely on the US for trade and must diversify to other countries as much and as fast as we can. That has to include major markets like China. He is shooting himself in the foot.

Me, in January 2026, listening to a computer security podcast from the beginning of December, 2025, hearing the hosts talking about the implications of deteriorating political situations, thinking 'if you only knew what's coming.' 😮

"AVOID HAZARDOUS WINTER CONDITIONS" says the sign over the highway.

It's an electronic sign,
run by the Ministry of transportation,
of the same provincial government that forced all of its workers to return to the office five days a week...
starting January 5th. 🤷

“I watched your prime minister yesterday. He wasn’t so grateful,” Trump said today.

“They should be grateful to us, Canada. Canada lives because of the United States. Remember that, Mark, the next time you make your statements.”

That feels like a threat. Bully behaviour.

No one could have foreseen this.
“Many had hoped reinfections of COVID would be milder or carry less long-term risk, but we found increased risks for a broad range of conditions, challenging the assumptions many had that children bounce back quickly,”
Keep getting the kids infected... It's going great.
