Very close to finally finishing Hero C26.
Will likely end up being around 2500-2600 words, all descriptive prose, not a word of dialogue, so the read-through will be particularly involved, making sure every beat counts.

Between this & the apparent clearing of her superyacht's records, JK seems to be at risk of trouble, & knows it.
Worth noting, she's such a lynchpin of the GC movement in the UK, & likely elsewhere, that if she does fall, & it's definitely an if, the domino effect could be quite something.

Another Hero milestone passed, with help from Basil Rathbone, who I'm warming to enough he may just slide into the no2 slot on my list of favourite Holmes actors.
The story has just reached 112,000 words overall, meaning it's doubled its length since I began this run on it. Wow.

Given Palantir's incursions into the UK military & the NHS, this would benefit more than the US.

Managed to regain some Hero momentum last night, writing 600 words, so thank you Mr Cushing & Mr Rathbone.
C26 is now almost 1400 words of descriptive prose, & will be at least another 1000. A big risk, but I think 1 worth taking. Tolkien taught me the value of a moment to breathe.
