Just thinking about how being a politically-aware teenager in the 90s-2000s and coming out queer during the Bush era made me extremely militant for most of my adult life but having to hide it most of the time with most people to keep from scaring them.

I changed my password and logged in. Saw I had an ugly old pfp. Tried to change it. No option to upload a new one, just a bunch of stock pfps. Tried to exit out of that menu. Now the entire site loads a blank white page. @sofurry.com

One big reason I left Christianity was when I realized that the "false peace" of non-believers looked less forced and performative than the "real peace" the people in my congregation professed. The lives of non-believers didn't fall apart like I was told they would. In fact they were more stable.
