They’re actually redacting Trump’s name AFTER the release.

They’re actually redacting Trump’s name AFTER the release.
So if his name is in the files, and he’s not a subject, then the files were not redacted properly. There is nothing in the Sunshine Laws allowing for someone to be redacted from the file because it might be embarrassing for their name to show up in it.

Now to the logic part of my thread:
Given everything I’ve mentioned above, if Trump is in the files, we should be able to see his name.
UNLESS… he’s a subject (accused person) who has not (or not yet) been arrested.

We had a request from The Innocence Project for files for their client, and it took us over a year to to go through all of the audio, video, and documents. But we had ONE person working on it because we are not a very large agency. The FBI had 1000 people.

- Video and photos as long as any juvenile victims faces are blurred out. Non-victims and juveniles who were arrested are not required to be blurred out.
- Any case notes and witness statements for closed files.

If that orange thing is intent on making name changes to more accurately reflect a person’s history he needs to start with his own. Donald Drumpf has a certain ring to it. While we’re at it, JD Vance needs to go back to James Donald Bowman. And, of course, Ted Cruz back to Rafael Cruz. For starters.
