I write comics and RPGs, I review RPGs for Who Dares Rolls and talk about Star Trek in the Casual Trek podcast. I like sharks and the X-Men, especially Cyclops. AI is for dickheads. He/Him #CasualTrek #StarTrek #DailyXMen

I’m Charlie Etheridge-Nunn, I write comics, reviews of RPGs, I take part in self-induced marathons of comics & books (X-Men, 2000 AD, Call of Cthulhu & Cyberpunk Red) and host a podcast about Star Trek called Casual Trek. I’m often found wandering the South Downs and coastal towns.
My #dailyxmen reading this week is a bit of a tangent, but a treat for myself. I’m reading Avengers Arena!

I’ve finally got back to Miles Morales. Those Spider-Man games are great fun.

Loot that drops after defeating me:
* 1-2 notepads
* 2-5 pens
* 0-1 dice I pocketed and forgot was there
* 4-12 pieces of paper which could be a receipt, could be an idea for a story
* coffee, roll for splash damage
Loot that drops after defeating me:

- A bellyful of pure liquid latinum.
- A can of Dulcolax
Loot that drops after defeating me: nine various lucky tokens and talismans, a container of body butter, tarot decks (roll a 1d6 for total received), a CD book of burned mixes, a glass pipe and grinder (roll a CON save for weed, if pass then 1d8 for fraction of ounce), and a raktajino mug of coffee

worth noting that the second rich people stopped being afraid of mobs tearing them limb from limb, they stopped building libraries and opera houses and stuff and started ripping the copper wiring out of the walls of society instead

I haven’t checked my CLZ stats since I started getting into 2000 AD a couple of years ago and it’s already my third most collected comic series.

Having seen Iron Lung, Markiplier’s self-funded movie written, directed and starring Markiplier, I can’t help but think of Garth Marenghi, but in a good way.

Interesting seeing that Oxventure are going to do what Mercer couldn’t. Use the system the CR folks made.

It’s very sad to see them going, but at least it’s on their own terms. Without them, I’d not have got back to talking about X-Men with my own friend called Miles, despite the ocean between us, started Casual Trek with him and started my daily X-Men readalong which has been going for nearly 6 years.

What #zinequest and #zimo TTRPG projects do folks have going on this month? No AI or 5E projects, please.

Just a reminder: there is no "right way" to enjoy Harry Potter.

"But this podcast" No.
"But the fanworks" No.
"But it was my childhood" Don't care. Read better fantasy. Cut this one out of your life.
JK Rowling's team invited Jeffery Epstein to the deathly hallows play and to a Harry potter dinner.
