An under-discussed aspect of the current state of buying tickets & going to concerts is how so many artists seem to be going to fewer and fewer cities on tour. An artist I like (who I won’t name because that’s not the point) is doing a 29 date US tour soon that’s only hitting 14 different cities 1/?

The new Ratboys joint is easily my favorite album of the year thus far, and I had a great time talking to Julia Steiner about every song on the record.
Ratboys' 'Singin' To An Empty Chair': The Story Behind Every Song
Every Ratboys album is good. The Chicago indie rockers have been in the game for six albums and 16 years, and they’ve only gotten better at their sound, which carries echoes of emo and pop-punk and al...

Last night I was at a theater in Cleveland. I was standing back by service desk waiting for my friend to get there & I overheard this middle aged couple tell the kid @ the desk that they somehow bought tickets for a theater in Knoxville, TN? Who knows how that happens. Of COURSE it was for Melania 😂
feels pretty dumb to talk about this doc in any capacity but, because i am a dweeb who enjoys film, i am happy to see that not all of the reporting around it is completely bogus, as much of it has been. first, the cost of this film including marketing was $75 million. docs never cost that much.
Sure, ‘Melania’ Did Great for a Documentary, but That Doesn’t Mean It Over-Performed
'Melania," Amazon MGM's documentary about First Lady Melania Trump, opened to $7 million at the box office.
