This explains a lot of my relationship difficulties.

Typically if you do something you dislike with people you like you transfer some of that like to the disliked activity. Notably I do it the opposite. If I participate in an activity I dislike with people I like, I end up liking those people less.

Hmm, just had a bit of insight on myself and I don't know that I like what I have learned, though I am glad to have learned it.
