‘I can categorically say that stories being told about me from 50 years ago are not true’

- a statement from Nigel Farage tonight on claims he racially abused fellow school pupils

That firm denial tonight is different to what he said in interview with BBC Wales Political Editor Gareth Lewis 👇

🚨It's time there was investigation into Russian interference in our politics.

And the first person they should question is Nigel Farage.

I’m a past winner of the Orwell Prize & won partly because I exposed Vote Leave’s unlawful activities.

Michael Gove was its co-convener & refused to answer a single q. He’s now a judge of the prize & our world is truly one that Orwell would recognise

Long C-19 is not your friend.

"Conclusions: Long COVID affects over one-fifth of SARS-CoV-2 survivors, with fatigue and dyspnoea persisting in many. Female sex and severe acute infection increase risk. Standardized definitions and longer follow-up are needed."

Despite the cut, this lecture sets out what America has for a president, amid how antimoral ideas leech across certain elements of our wider, global society. A question I asked myself on listening is : How much far right toxin have our younger politicians absorbed by studying where they did?
I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

These reports the Government could revalue council tax bands F, G and H don't make sense to me. Here's what could actually be going on:

New studies come out all the time. I understand it’s hard to face but everyone should know the truth.

“Everyone [who’s] had COVID-19 tends to have some lasting reduction in brain blood flow (CBF), mainly in frontotemporal areas – even if they feel 100% recovered [and the infection was mild].”
Latest 🚨🧵by Dr. @harryspoelstra.bsky.social on Covid's impact on the right-occipital areas, where visual information is processed!

SARS-CoV-2 "...causes persistent cerebral hypoperfusion (mainly frontotemporal) that can still be detected months later..."

You want your frontotemporal lobes as healthy as possible. Among other things, they’re responsible for decision-making, risk assessment, self control, and memory.

Protect your frontotemporal lobes. Wear a well-fitting mask wherever you can get or spread COVID.

We urgently need to know how many of these accounts have been spreading/amplifying hate, division and instability in Britain. We already know that a foreign actor - Elon Musk - promoted violent overthrow of the government. Has his platform been enabling foreign adversaries to do the same?
This is one of the big accounts boosting Tommy Robinson, Farage and Reform and ‘English Patriots’.

It’s Russian.

Aye, everyone must act to bear environmental and financial costs of microplastics. Too often are farmers scapegoated on environmental issues. All of us are culpable.
Last week, Ildiko Heim and Amila Abeynayaka represented MINAGRIS at the NETmicroplastic conference in Tulln, Austria.

A take away from the conference was that farmers shouldn’t bear the environmental and financial costs of plastics on their own. Everyone must act, from product design to policy.
