Maxine Peake and Shirley Henderson and Peter Mullen are fantastic. Also some young actors in there with Tourettes’ syndrome who are truly excellent. Robert Aramayo puts in an award winning turn. So excited to see how his career develops. That’s a generational actor, I think.

Remarkable movie, and astonishing central performance. Made me think how infrequently we see this kind of film now. Grounded, social realism, very British drama. Good to see posters everywhere and a cinema release. Old school British cinema that isn’t only twee or ‘old person does something quirky.’
