The US/Trump threat to Canada has always been political, not economic. Tariffs are the symptom, not the disease. Unless Carney acts accordingly, we’re going to end up with a trade agreement that *seems* to protect Canadian interests while hollowing out our social, democratic core.

I wish people would stop describing things that are indisputably provable as a matter of fact as "controversial." People not liking a fact doesn't mean the fact is controversial. Reality is not malleable around our beliefs and it shouldn't be. We need to stop acting like it is.

It's exhausting that now both the UK and Canada seem to have funneled backlash against conservative parties into somehow electing the opposition party to only have them immediately embrace all the things that there was backlash against.
