Democrats should plan to flood the post office and libraries with money.

creates good union jobs, builds faith in government, creates vital social infrastructure. there's zero downsides.

We're not required to defend CAFE standards. They really are bad and a big part of the reason every car is massive nowadays. Well-meaning regulations can sometimes have unintended consequences.

1. This is not how anyone talks to an O-10.

2. This is certainly not how a 40 year-old ex-O-4 talks to an O-10.

3. This is the most dumbshit company grade officer crap imaginable. No competent commander tells a senior officer not to ask questions.

4. He may as well have called Holsey "boy."

The USG has a new explanation on why they (now admittedly) intentionally killed 2 shipwrecked men. It does not pass the laws-of-war smell test

Worse for Hegseth, NYT: "Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth approved contingency plans for what to do if an initial strike left survivors."

Jeffries: "The border is secure. That's a good thing. It happened on his watch. He wants to claim credit for it, of course he'll get credit for that. In terms of making sure that we actually deal with the issues that matter, including on immigration, there's a lot that's left to be desired."

one of my favourite games to play is called "see if NVIDIA's statements make any sense." This is a good example of one that does not: this is from its Q1FY2026 (May) earnings, and would equate to 72MW of IT load per week, or 3.7GW a year. This hasn't happened. It isn't happening.

I’m kind of new to the Democrats, but I thought we were FOR respecting the legal process, and also that we were AGAINST political corruption. And that it was especially important to hold to these principles at this time.

But I guess there’s some insider memo I didn’t get that would set me straight?
Jeffries claims the charges against Cueller were "very thin" and says Trump's pardon was "exactly the right outcome"

BREAKING: All House Democrats have signed our discharge petition to extend the ACA tax credits.

That makes 214.

We can protect health care and lower costs — if only 4 Republicans will join us.

1. Jared Kushner's trip to Moscow yesterday was not just unethical; it was illegal.

You cannot accept tens of millions of dollars from foreign governments and simultaneously conduct high-level diplomacy for the federal government.

It says it right in the Constitution.
Kushner’s Moscow mission wasn’t just corrupt. It was unconstitutional.
Jared Kushner, President Trump’s son-in-law, has been traveling the world to participate in high-stakes foreign policy negotiations on behalf of the president.

We are not at war with Venezuela, yet. The boats are civilian craft. The U.S. criminal code does not maintain a death penalty for drug smuggling. Due process is required before conviction or sentence.

All of the 80 people killed thus far are wanton murders slain under illegal orders. All of them.

When Democrats propose a bill limiting the President’s power to deploy National Guard troops on US soil they should name the act after the guardsmen who tragically lost their lives today because of Trump’s capricious decision to deploy them to DC for no good reason.
