Reclamation of the flag is important. For years I saw an American flag and my stomach dropped. These Nazis don't deserve to call themselves Patriots. The flag is for all of the No Kings protesters.

The GOP are and have been the evil in this and they will continue to be.

We own patriotism.

Trumpism is fascism but it is post-ideological fascism, fascism as pure form, emptied of content. To the extent it has any content, it is hopeless, despairing, vengeful nihilism. This is fascism as it appears after the neoliberal cultural counter-revolution reduced politics to process & structure.

I think I read in a comment elsewhere: he's gotten himself to the point where he can claim to be one of the top oceanography experts in the world, which is wild.
Easy to make fun of how goofy it is, but legitimately impressive and a good use of his wealth when you think about it.
