The stupid people are going to kill us.
Sometimes I find it difficult to tell the difference between an article written by GenAI or a human whose brain has been beaten to a pulp with a crowbar.

Just recently discovered Vix's youtube channel and I love it.
She's been making some mini documentaries on a variety of retro computing and gaming systems including Amiga and PC Engine (my 2 faves).. And this, the first of 3 parts covering Hudson Soft, who eventually designed the PCE.

Respect. If you’re gonna be anti establishment it’s because you’re better than the establishment.

So when are we allowed to do comparative politics between the CCP and the Republican party?
Trump: "I want my cabinet to behave like [Xi Jinping's staff]. I'm demanding that....I've never seen men so scared in their lives...JD doesn't behave like that. JD butts into conversations."

Anybody here pre-ordered a new Commodore Ultimate 64 ? I’m trying to find some info on shipping schedule updates for the UK, but can’t find anything. I’m starting to think this may not be coming this year. #c64 #commodore

I've seen enough. We need to wind everything back and return to the days of BBSes and MUDs. Dial-up only. No speeds faster than 56K or straight to jail with you.

In the old days we used to tell people not to send emails that you wouldn’t mind your parents reading (especially in regard to professionalism).
In 2025 it’s: don’t put anything in emails or Word documents you wouldn’t want uploaded into an LLM.

Imagine how many SNAP beneficiaries and government workers who now no longer have a job Microsoft and OpenAI could have funded for that $11.5B loss they took last quarter.

This has been happening to me too. Yeah I thought I was getting doddery.
Another thing I've noticed is that at random it will stop notifying me of text messages. Just stay silent. Completely intermittent, even during the same ongoing conversation.

FromFB: If you're rich, you can get away with anything.
This should have shut down Meta's AI as soon as it was discovered. Not only should they have been fined into oblivion, but those who took the decision should have been jailed, and they should have been ordered to destroy it.

Yes it could be argued that keeping up with world events is important but alternatively can I interest you in hugging an ancient mossy boulder that looks like a face and quietly listening while it tells you stories from centuries cloaked in mist.

I’ve spent the last week or so going back to my Amiga roots.
I’ve been too long away from retrocomputing and my YouTube channel. I forgot just how much I missed the Amiga but in this world of slop being forced upon us in ALL our IT, the old classic machines are just a joy and breath of fresh air.
