Nothing profound to write – just try to point out reality. Hate Brexit – no time for its proponents.
Blighted by OCD. Prone to sarcasm.
If occasional profanity offends, you're in the wrong place.
No doubt, @bethrigby.bsky.social will be the vanguard if those grubby backs, ably supported by by her little lieutenant, the excitable @samcoatessky.bsky.social 🙄
So the Conservatives failed but he would accept any defections, or do a deal with them? Are we meant to believe that Farage, in politics for over 30 years, is not part of the political class? I'm sure our current crop of grubby hacks will be leading the charge to convince us he is correct

One only needs to glance at the financials of some of RefUK’s MPs (& erstwhile MPs) to decide who are the elite:
Tice, Farage, (former MP) Lowe — all millionaires… yet they’re not the ‘elite’‽

The evidence shows there are too many fuckwits around to swallow that bullshit. .

No wonder she has trouble calculating the appropriate level of fiscal headroom.

On the one hand, anything to distract from reports of his increasingly well-documented, lifelong racism.
On the other, if he's told some donors this (& the FT will have sourced this properly) you can be sure that he'd've told others the polar opposite if he thought that's what they wanted to hear.
FT Exclusive: The Reform UK leader told donors he expects a deal or merger between his party and the Conservatives ahead of the next general election, suggesting he does not believe he can sweep to power alone. on.ft.com/44xlHi0

Farage.
Grifter-in-chief. Racist. Russian asset. Trump groupie.
He gets an MP’s salary and spends his time doing anything but.
A professional piss-taker and national security (and sanity) threat, leading the polls to be the next PM.
Come on UK.
Get some sodding self-respect.

Over to you @news.sky.com. Do your jobs properly instead of regularly promoting or platforming Farage & RefUK.
Farage’s ‘racism & anti-semitism’, as remembered by over 20 fellow alumni of Dulwich College, & a proper look at his ‘denials’.

Very sad to read the news of Robin Smith's passing. As a Hampshire Hog, I always enjoyed watching his batting… IMO, among the most destructive of bowlers since Gordon Greenidge for Hampshire.

Interesting and revealing final hour on the @mrjamesob.bsky.social show today. It's about time that more broadcasters and journalists did their jobs scrutinising Farage.
How's about you: @news.sky.com, @bethrigby.bsky.social? I guess no chance with Mason, Kuenssberg et al at BBC.

He's making it a talking point.

A sensible place to begin.
BREAKING: “The idea that leaving the EU was the answer to all our cares and concerns has clearly been proved wrong."

Keir Starmer says that "wild promises were made" about Brexit.

He adds: "The same argument is now being made about the European Convention on Human Rights"
December 2, 2025 at 9:45 AM
What is so infuriating, is that Starmer points out the bleeding obvious, yet included in its manifesto, red lines, without which would have meant that Labour could have done something to begin to redress the failure of #Brexit, instead of tinkering around the edges with 'closer links'.
Pathetic!

Vital point. The expectation of far too many in the UK was that others would bear the consequences:

If states could just leave and nothing would change for citizens, why would anybody stay?

To which I would add the startling expectation that the UK could leave the EU but nothing would really change.

Scarcity critical thinking on the part of many voters strikes again, as they support those in parliament, who do not share the interests of their supporters.
How fucking stupid can people be?
Labour’s Employment Rights Bill - a rare effort to address inequality of power.

But of course they did.

FFS Starmer… #Brexit has cattle-trucked the UK economy, while the Brexit *deal* has done nothing to mitigate that damage.
It is not good enough to decry the situation without doing anything substantive to remediate the damage. That is weak.
