I played Dave the Diver, Emmi answered some of my questions, and unfortunately we cut out the part of the episode where we noted how the game begins and ends with shots of Dave the Diver's bare toes. It's still good without that though please listen

I went to a rage room after quitting my talent agency job and it was incredibly cathartic but I couldn't tell if it was the breaking things part that was good or just the feeling of exercising for once

New: the govt has moved to dismiss its assault case against Marimar Martinez and Anthony Ian Santos Ruiz, two people accused of "box[ing] in" a Border Patrol vehicle in Chicago on Oct. 4.
One agent shot Martinez, with evidence presented to the court that he later bragged about in text messages.

Thinking about how when you're in AmeriCorps the stipend is generally so little (and also does not count as income) that you're expected and encouraged to enroll for SNAP benefits to afford life for the program

it's not that i ever doubted that being a barista was a skilled position, but my year-long effort to try to produce a half-decent latte at home has convinced me that a good barista is easily more skilled than virtually every c-suite executive on the planet
