Retro gamer and Atari fan. The Jaguar is the best console ever made, and the Falcon is the best home computer.😁
Also own and enjoy Commodore, Acorn and other great retro stuff.
When I first played Syndicate, as a 14 year old, and read the premise of the game, I realised what the inevitable end point of Capitalism looks like. I just thought we'd have more than 32 years before it started to become a reality.

Just read that Quentin Wilson died yesterday. I loved his wryness.

Post the first song lyrics that come to mind. I'll start:

Cadbury's are releasing a range of chocolate to celebrate that being dyslexic doesn't hold you back. Their first bar is the Cadbury's Hairy Milf.

I've just re-watched the Datalore episode of Star Trek TNG for the first time in about 10 years. What stood out for me MASSIVELY is that Lore is exactly the same as LLM prompts that concentrate on pleasing the person asking the questions. The 'prompt' becomes creepy as f*ck very quickly.

I've just cancelled my Disney+ account, as it's the only lever I have to protest against the forced silencing of Jimm @jimmykimmel.com, from the UK.

Anyway, this is one of the weird messages I got during the process. #FreeSpeech

Why do I buy things and never open the boxes? Why must I buy things? WHY!!!!

Well, I've just had a blazing row with my next door neighbours about them smoking marijuana. The lady who lives there tried to get angry at me for over reacting. I do regret calling her a c*nt in the exchange, but I should not have to smell dope.

I still haven't shown my 13 year old son this movie because I'm worried he won't love it like I did when I first saw it.

Just seen a Pringles advert on the TV, and they've ditched "once you pop, you just can't stop" as the slogan. I honestly can't remember what the new one was. Maybe it was "buy Pringles, they taste nice but are really bad for you." Which marketer thought "Let's ditch the catchphrase everyone knows"?

I had no idea Settlers 2 wasn't available on the Amiga.

Hey, as a librarian I need to tell you:

Our funding depends on usage.

So go ahead and check out that book even if you don't think you'll finish it. No one will know. Check out that DVD even though you might not like it. Get ambitious in your quest for knowledge.

I love Scotland. We saw two (yes two) golden eagles on the drive up here. We saw a pod of bottlenose dolphins on the crossing to Arran. We then saw more bottlenose dolphins, plus harbour porpoises and common dolphins on the crossing back. Oh, and we also saw a MASSIVE dragonfly balancing on a fence.

Everyone has a comedy series they end up coming back to time and time again. I'm nearly 50, and have so many series to choose from, but for me it's This Country. It's such a brilliantly written and acted show, but the sheer balls and grit it took to get in made without compromise is inspiring.

This might seem a bit controversial, but Diet Pepsi tastes nicer than Pepsi Max, and Diet Coke tastes nicer than Coke Zero.

People insult BlueSky for being an echo chamber. How many school shootings have started with a kid checking BlueSky? Everything resonates, but NOT ALL ECHOES SOUND THE SAME. #GunsKillNotPeople

Look what I managed to do. I pulled on the pack where it says pull to open, and it actually opened. I think I may have activated GOD MODE.

I know I've probably posted this before, but it still blows my mind.

All the other planets in the Solar System - including Pluto - could fit between the Earth and the Moon when they're at apogee (furthest distance apart).

That's how far the Moon is actually away from Earth.

Jeez, it was so hot when I got up this morning that I decided to walk around the house naked. But then it got too sunny, so I went back inside.

I was going to put a Palestinian flag up outside my house, but I'm just not brave enough to do it. I knew that if I put it up everyone would know exactly what that flag means. That my house was promised to the Israelis 3,500 years ago.

Thanks Donald Trump. Great move stopping American companies from selling me things from the US to ship to the UK.
Looks like I'll have to buy dodgy knock offs instead.🙃🙃🙃🙃

Interesting fact:
If you switch the initial letters of Well Being, you get Bell Weeing. (well, almost. I mean phonetically you do.)
