Had multiple chats with politically active people who hadn't even heard about things the immigrant community and legal aid groups said they found very helpful: court observers or accompaniment, adopting a day labor corner, verifying rapid response reports, all are helpful things many people can do!

Man, depression is really hitting hard lately. It's making me second/third guess everything and it has been impossible to focus on anything. I wish I could stop crying every other day too 🫠

The advantage of not frequenting any websites with a "trending topics" feature is that my depression and anxiety don't get much worse. The big disadvantage is that I have no idea what new horror has been unleashed (internationally) when my feed vagueposts about the end of the world.

Man, spending the night in Brighton so close to the 10 year anniversary of Bowie's passing is putting me in a bit of an emotional state. I was living here when it happened and you could feel people were /shaken/. I was also super depressed at the time so I probably felt it extra hard.
