Trump did on 60 Minutes what he does every time. He spews a blizzard of lies, exaggerations and assorted other falsehoods, and if (as usual) the reporter isn’t equipped or doesn’t bother to push back, he keeps going.

Here is a detailed list, via @mehdirhasan.bsky.social

Dipping your toes in the water is a time-tested method for getting used to both good and bad things. Definitely use it for good but yeah, it's important to keep the above in mind. It's a very (uniquely?) Human thing to be able to imagine Future You - use it.
Seriously though, why do I need hackproof passwords on accounts that really don't matter?
I shouldn't need "C0mpl1catedPassw0rd#!99" to guard the rewards points on my froyo app.
The problem is that run-of-the-mill Christians and these guys both claim the mantle of Christianity, so one group is going to need to come up with a modifier or they'll continue to get judged together.

I think the preponderance of actual nazis on the site owned by an actual nazi is worse than the site where they may be overly concerned about nazis, that's my 2 cents
Most of the baseball posts don't mention "baseball", it's more like "Holy crap!" or "OMG that catch!"
So many conspiracies on microwaves and other tech.
Lots of people don't understand something (which is fine, we all start there!), but then make their own ignorant conclusion and believe it 100%.
Probably based on what happens when you slowly freeze water-filled veggies: the long ice crystals pierce the cell wall and they get mushy.
Freezing something dry (e.g. coffee beans) or quickly (shorter ice crystals) is fine.

It's incredibly normal to feel uncomfortable being near people who are different from you. And your job as a human being is to feel a little ashamed of that, grow the fuck up, and get over it.
Vance says it is "totally reasonable and acceptable" for people to not want to live next door to people who speak a different language than they do

I would rather live next door to someone who speaks another language than live next door to someone who doesn’t want to live near people who speak other languages. I know nothing about Person A but I know person B is a shitbird.

Also Reese's "Crispy Crunchy" or w/e.
About the same as 5th Avenue and miles better than Butterfinger.
A 5th Avenue is what a Butterfinger thinks it is

The New York Post is owned by Lachlan Murdoch, solely because his daddy bought it and passed it on to him.

And it's backing Andrew Cuomo, a meathead whose whole career in politics stems from his daddy being good at it.

But *Mamdani* is the nepo baby, because his mom was a filmmaker? Sure.
Interesting cover from NY Post
I don't think you ever age out of Kiddo status.
My mom still calls me that sometimes. I'm in my 50s.
I started listening very young so I probably missed most of the Purpose (other than mocking people in positions of authority, that was obvious). I just was & remain in awe of their wit.
Always pleasantly surprising to see a Firesign Theater reference.
All those "committees" are great but Firesign packs the jokes in tightest.
I feel like the flowing ones are girls and the exploding ones are guys.
Sometimes they're gender-fluid (switch from Flow to Blow).

ripping up the white house on a whim to build a grand ballroom during a shutdown in which you are illegally firing thousands of workers, with stagflation setting in thanks in large part to your tariffs and willful destruction of the dollar. versailles shit. fiddling while rome burns shit. classic
I got married at midnight, so we have 2 days to choose from for celebrations. Or both.
Congrats to you two and enjoy your anniversaries~

The best time to abolish ICE would have been in 2021. The next best time is if we win in 2028. At this point, any Democrat unwilling to abolish ICE must be drummed out of the primary.
ICE is stockpiling arms, including chemical weapons, guided missile warheads and explosive components. The spending dwarfs anything we've ever seen in the agency - a 700% increase.

The President is building an army to attack his own country.

Listen to you, "Wahh I don't want another great depression" well too bad, my hands are tied. Weak men have to create hard times or else the meme doesn't work

Spotify’s founder, Daniel Ek, is another techno-fascist billionaire.

He’s invested in AI that specializes in war, surveillance and violence, so it’s no surprise he’s fine with running ICE ads on Spotify.

If you haven’t already, cancel your Spotify subscriptions. Let’s make them feel like Disney+.
Spotify boycott: Artists leave 'garbage hole' platform after CEO invests in AI weapons
Daniel Ek's investments in AI dronemaker Helsing have unnerved artists. One called Spotify a "violent armageddon portal."

"Person impeached for insurrection sends billions to Argentina during US gov't shutdown" and "Felon convicted of fraud pardons felon convicted of fraud" and "Long-time Epstein associate posts video depicting himself as a king dumping diarrhea on Americans from a fighter jet" are factual statements
I was curious what the Mainheim rally would look like. I considered going to that one instead of Lancaster but the signup said it was "full" (whatever that means).
