What is the best way to fight fascism?

Everyone.
Everywhere.
All at Once.
The frog. I'm crying.
Fox chyron reads "ANTI-ICE PROTESTS ROCK CHARLOTTE" while in the background on their liveshot you can see people in frog and dinosaur costumes

Protecting the president from this is not a 'national security' issue unless you view the president as 'the nation'.
The Epstein files bill that passed today in both the House and Senate grants AG Pam Bondi the authority to “withhold or redact…any material that…would jeopardize an active investigation or national security.”

Trump would rather the entire species perish in an extinction event than face one personal consequence

After all the manufactured drama with Hillary Clinton's email server it is surreal that Donald Trump will be brought down by incriminating emails himself.

the only thing democrats should be saying today is “the entire republican party is engaged in a coverup of the most notorious child sex trafficking ring in world history”

Trump is appealing the judicial order to pay full SNAP benefits by tomorrow.

He’s spending tax payer dollars going back to court to try and avoid giving folks money they are legally owed.

He’s starving 42 million people because to him they are leverage.

It’s enraging.

Five🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨fire for corporate America. They came for you too.
Trump told China he’s open to giving them Nvidia’s Blackwell AI chips, the most advanced in the world. Once again, trading away national security for soybeans to fix a problem he caused.

His toxic narcissism is a cancer on his every thought. He is broken. He believes his loss in 2020 means there is a tear in the fabric of the universe where he is preordained to win at everything all of the time. He would destroy the universe itself to set things 'right'. This is not an exaggeration.
Trump: "We can never let what happened in the 2020 election happen again. We just can't let that happen. I know Kash is working on it, everybody is working on it. And certainly Tulsi is working on it. We can't let that happen again to our country."

The movie Amelie has a vivid color scheme with deep reds, vivid blues and greens, and mustard yellow accents. I attempted to recreate that here.

A pattern is developing where everyone who fights back against a Trump attack inevitably wins with their reputation much better than before, and everyone who caves to him looks like shit and has Trump coming back for more a month later.

They just tear-gassed us. They tried to run us over in a van holding a peaceful protester. They shot us with pepper balls. They dragged another protester into the facility.
moments ago, ice agents again came out of the broadview detention/“professing” facility to escort a silver suv out of the lot.

one of the agents picked up and threw congressional candidate kat abughazaleh to the ground.

If I have any credibility with you from 20 years of reporting on rightwing & fascist movements, please listen when I beg you not to celebrate Charlie Kirk getting shot. Leave aside morality: this isn’t a match in dry grass, it’s a torch. We do not want what this could ignite & we would not win.

I really, really don’t think what blue voters want to hear right now is “military takeover is redundant because we can crack down on crime more effectively.” They want to hear “this is fascism and we won’t stand for it” and vanishingly few national dems are doing that
Jeffries on Trump planning a military crackdown in Chicago: "We should continue to support local law enforcement and not simply allow Donald Trump to play games with the lives of the American people as part of his effort to manufacture a crisis and create a distraction because he's deeply unpopular"

Simple way to explain how museums work to Donald Trump at his reading level:

You take the good. You take the bad.
You take them both, and then you have,
The Facts of Life.

Taking photos and video of law enforcement officers performing their duties in public is our constitutional right.

This includes police, FBI, National Guard troops, ICE agents, and other government officials.

I am grieving the barbarism that is going to unfurl from all this. People are going to die. Livelihoods gone. All to feed a corrupt kleptocracy.

I see every day up close how different it is from the first time around. There are no guardrails. A disaster. I’m sorry we have to live through this.
