When I say "My car does 200kph," I'm not implying the car *chooses* to do that. It is understood that it is my input that makes it go that fast.

Grok isn't the only LLM with problems with nonconsensual deepfake pornography: I also tested other popular models: ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude. All 3 refused to undress a woman and show her wearing a swastika bikini, but ChatGPT and Gemini both generated an image of the woman wearing a normal bikini

If you thought Elon Musk's “Grok” chatbot couldn't get worse, read my latest article: Grok isn't just undressing women, it's now putting swastika bikinis on them. One woman who was targeted is a recently-deceased Holocaust survivor.
BREAKING: X’s chatbot Grok isn’t just making AI porn deepfakes, it’s now making Nazi AI porn deepfakes, undressing women and showing them wearing “swastika bikinis”. Many of these women are Jewish, including a recently deceased Holocaust survivor.

A point that I have made in my work is that in both cases, AI and fairies, people often wanted to believe it was real
the number of people who can't clock bad AI-generated video footage as such really makes me more sympathetic to the people who fell for the Cottingsley fairies. Our eye for the real in video or photo footage isn't natural, it's a learned skill.

I’ve not watched any of these, so no specifics, but when will people realise they get far too invested in popular series for the ending ever to be satisfactory to them?
And so Stranger Things enters the pantheon of bad, disappointing endings to a once-beloved show.

The "Ordinary Tsarism" 2025 year-end wrap is a bad trip through a burnt-out empire. They wanted a glorious crusade; they got depressive stagnation, casinos, astrology, and "Komsomol-style" morality police checking marriage certificates at hotels. Even the Z-channels admit the vibe is pure doom.

Vatniks don't comment on the Moscow blackout - even Kalashnikov. Seems to me it's a 'too touchy' subject. They're vating on the 'official stance' - which also can't really be announced - or for some large channel to start talking and only then the flood will come. But that's after the new year.

Rather superfluous, given the thread is about Russian soldiers' behaviour, but content warning for rape and murder.
The screenshot (the full video is linked) shows a resident of the part of Pokrovsk "liberated" by Russia.

Victoria, her husband, and her mother-in-law were waiting for the "liberators," as she herself testified to the Russian military police.

The "liberators" arrived.

Nothing screams "Holy Holiday" like priests blessing a red assault-brigade flag featuring St. Putin the Destroyer. This isn't Christianity; it’s a militarized death cult wrapped in gold vestments. If you’re still defending the Moscow Patriarchate, you’re blind. Absolute spiritual rot. 🤮

This is a double whammy story... Multiple entirely fake entries on this list published in multiple papers.

But the list itself is taken whole from a press release.

So it's a warning story about AI slop, but also a warning about unquestioning reproduction of press releases.
#4 sounds like a lovely book but I didn't write it. Have had whānau up and down the country send me clippings lol
Whoever put together this list that has been circulated to regional papers, didn't fact check.
