‪I got my first cat review!!! This is Mandy, and Mandy thinks "What A Fish Looks Like," - from @stelliform.press - is good for faceplanting! Mandy, like all cats, is perfect, so there you go.
Photo of perfectly furry orange and white cat napping in sun with face planted on copy of my book, What A Fish Looks Like. Her ears are forwards so she looks like a rocket.

Sama'a's family is struggling. They have two little girls to feed and clothe, one still an infant, and every dollar counts. Please join me in digging deep for them.

I could NOT be more excited for a sequel. FRIENDS you have just enough time to order @boriscrito.bsky.social EG Condé's Sordidez from @stelliform.press. You won't be **ready for this greatness, but you can at least prepare.

Thanks to your support for Taínofuturism, @stelliform.press is publishing TWO standalone sequels to SORDIDEZ in 2026! 📕The first is called CACIQUES. Set in Borikén, our heroes learn how to live without the Empires that have long defined them. Can they vanquish the lingering ghosts of coloniality? 9/

"Drugs are not expensive because they're made of platinum or something."

May we continue work towards a society that puts the care of its people and the place we live at the heart of its mission (because seriously WTF else is the priority).

As we see ANOTHER huge drop in the cost of curing tuberculosis, I am reminded that 1. drugs are not expensive because they're made of platinum or something, and 2. the fruits of activism are often harvested over many years. Thanks to all the folks who made this happen. www.stoptb.org/news/breakin...

When you wake up to see your book held, and read, by one of your favorite writers working today, is there a bigger honor than that? (spoiler, there isn't).
bpladek.bsky.social
queers, if you want a book to hold your heart through the current awful, preorder this magnificent collection by @syr.bsky.social, out in September from @stelliform.press. it's a guidebook on how to love a world (& each other) through constant, unendurable loss. www.stelliform.press/index.php/pr...

Me again. I’m writing this 12 hours ago, so I’m hoping we’ve had some support come in for this single lifeline for 6 families and a displacement camp. I’d like to think we can do better than going more than a day without support, i.e. food, for them.
