Who is the only arbiter of good journalism? Neil Gaiman, of course. Only he can tell you what is true or not, what is real or not, what is fact or not. He is the only good writer alive, the only one who knows what real; not you.

This is how abusers control and abuse.

In Neil Gaiman’s “I did nothing wrong ever” statement he says there’s been no good journalism about him or his assaults. There has been, of course.

Thing is, he said the same thing in 2018 when @moryan.bsky.social reported on issues behind the scenes on American Gods www.moryan.com/a-burn-it-do...
A Burn It Down video extravaganza, and thoughts on Neil Gaiman, creative gods, American Gods and rotten pedestals
Hello!  Chicago folks, on Wednesday, Aug. 14 at 7 p.m., I’ll be in conversation with my friend Steve Darnall at The Book Cellar in Chicago. The occasion is the reissue of Uncle Sam, a brilliant graph...

Again, the movie grossed just over 10% of its cost.
And projections were so low, beating them is not an achievement.
I thought Forbes understood how money works. Geez.

When anyone from SCTV dies it’s like 30 people have died. Every character they created was as alive as anyone else you’ve ever met.

While I encourage you to NOT spend money or even participate in society today, maybe you could spend money or participate in society TOMORROW, because FOC is coming up fast on this! As you can see from this extremely generous preview, I got to have a lot of fun.

To get caught using AI to write a news announcement for a Vampirella book is wild. Like clearly it’s been used before with that “clickbait headline” bit.

What?!?!?!

I’d expect this from a Valnet owned site but to see AIPT using AI is sad to see…
For folk who missed it, a now-deleted article from @aiptcomics.com confirmed it's using AI to write its news now. Time to update your list of banned sources.

Sucks to see how far AIPT has fallen.

So, legendary comics artist Sal Buscema drew Beebo! Because it was an odd request, it ended up taking him a little longer to finish, so by then, "The Good, the Bad and the Cuddly" had aired. You can see Beebo's steely-eyed determination in the piece. I love it.

I have a sketch from Sal, and it's one of my most treasured possessions. It's of Beebo from #LegendsOfTomorrow, and it is almost certainly the first piece of commissioned art ever done of the character...because I asked him for it before Beebo's first episode aired.
