I haven't talked about this publicly, but last year I was the victim of identity theft. My likeness and identity were stolen and used for nefarious purposes by a person from a foreign country.

That person's name is Chip Zdarsky.

You've been kidnapped. The characters from the last TV show you watched are trying to rescue you. Who's coming to save you?

(Probably going to go through some fucked-up shit before they get to me but that's okay.)

Finally read the concluding issue of @danpgwatters.bsky.social and @cleanlined.bsky.social's BATMAN: DARK PATTERNS, and holy cow but I want a hundred more issues of that series.

It was a joy to write about BATMAN/DEADPOOL #1, Grant Morrison, metafiction, and intercompany crossovers for this week's DC Round-Up.
DC Round-Up: Metafictional mayhem in Morrison & Mora's BATMAN/DEADPOOL #1
The Dark Knight and the Merc with the Mouth's second team-up is a gleeful riff on the characters and on Morrison's past work.

This is hilarious: I searched Marvel Unlimited to see if the DEADPOOL/BATMAN one-shot was on there, and the first several dozen results are all Moon Knight comics.

No Deadpool - just Moon Knight.

I know this cover is weird and off-putting, but it's also one of my favourites. To me, the swapping of Scott Free and Orion as babies is the core of the New Gods. It's biblical. It's Shakespearean. It's epic. Kirby was amazing.
