CBS’ evening news program failed to cover Trump's pardon of Binance founder last night — while its counterparts all did.

Over the past week, the president said the DOJ should pay him a quarter billion dollars, bulldozed half the White House to build himself a gaudy ballroom, bragged about murdering civilians in international waters, pardoned some more criminals, directed federal prosecutors to indict his opponents ...
Gee - I wonder where she got her news from...

JFC - at what point does our national media coverage start reflecting the insane stench of corruption emanating from Trump, Johnson, et al? Seriously - they're LITERALLY taking a wrecking ball to the White House. What will it take?
The framers had a remedy for brazen corruption: impeachment. Trump's grift is so far out in the open because he is sure he can get away with anything.
CZ pleaded guilty to a criminal money laundering charge and was sentenced to prison.

But then he financed President Trump’s stablecoin and lobbied for a pardon.

Today, he got it.

If Congress does not stop this kind of corruption, it owns it.

one very funny thing Zohran Mamdani said in this interview: Bill Ackman has spent more money trying to defeat Mamdani than Mamdani wants Ackman to pay in additional taxes

One year ago today, just before dawn, preparing for my first interview as a candidate for Mayor of New York City.

What we have built together over these past 12 months is nothing short of extraordinary.

12 more days to bring it home.

All these guys were supposedly cleared by the NBA, huh? Look guilty as sin right now according to info released by the FBI.

So can we assume the NBA investigation into Kawhi/Clippers/Aspiration will be as "thorough" as this recent gambling "investigation"?

Could not agree more with every word of this!
Going to take a swing, again, at what I think is the one biggest thing the establishment DC Searchlight Abundance mod blogger Argument blob (aka everyone with money and audience, sigh) is getting wrong:

Their model of how voters' brains work is not how voters brains actually work. 🧵
The "partisans" (so many questions) are not wrong, moving to the center is not the Way to Win, and hello @nytimes.com Ed Board. Apparently we are at the phase of responding to an argument without responding to the actual argument. Our first time being subeditorialized! Fun.

Never mind every other single abominable or corrupt thing to this miserable moment, the extrajudicial and unevidenced execution of 34 human beings by the U.S. Navy on the orders of a U.S. President acting in peacetime is sufficient for his impeachment and conviction.

If we were a republic, I mean.
I still vividly remember that playoff faceoff between Bernard King and Isaiah Thomas. Both unstoppable. Bernard King is one of the most forgotten studs.
At this point, anybody who believes anything Trump says is stupid enough to vote for him. Any journalist who doesn't ask pertinent follow up questions or ask for proof of his absurd claims is a waste of human flesh.

Why does everyone keep calling it “The Epstein Ballroom?” Please stop repeating “The Epstein Ballroom” because it is not called “The Epstein Ballroom!” Don’t tell the news that it’s called “The Epstein Ballroom” and please don’t repost this!!!!!

As Raskin says, by ordering his cronies to commit crimes, Trump makes them dependent on him to obtain pardons. Because the price of losing favor with the dictator in the Oval Office could well be a prison sentence, there's a huge incentive to do anything Trump wants, however repugnant it may be.
Finally: If Trump is hinting or outright demanding that DOJ give him $230 million in claims, how can any official who might be needing a pardon later say no to him? Reinforces the picture of all this as a kind of criminal syndicate. Raskin is strong on this here:
