This oil on canvas showing the garden at the front of the studio was finished in 2024 and hung in the autumn exhibition of the Cambridge Drawing Society where it found a buyer. I called it "The Stepladder" (size 30" X 34").

A morning in the Trent/Tame Valley yielded 20 year ticks including 2 Russian White-fronted Geese, 3 Whooper Swan, 3 Slavonian Grebe, Great White Egret, Golden Plover, 3 Red-crested Pochard, Common Sand + Shelduck. Good to see the remodelled foreshore at Ashy Pit, Branston GPs.

Both the DH and Pops-in-Law went back for seconds tonight, which really makes my heart feel good.
(It was the simplest kielbasa, brussels, potato, onion, honey, mustard seed thing. Threw some cherry tomatoes in for Ma-in-Law who likes that sort of thing.)
