Because we let them become tech overlords. We were supposed to have protected ourselves from Robber Barons starting with the Sherman Antitrust Act of 1890 BUT they wannabe kings always find a way to oppress. We must fix our laws and remove the plague of billionaires from our midst.

Today my daughter's preschool is holding a farewell assembly for one of her classmates whose mother has no choice but to self deport. The school is hoping it will be joyful in tone, so we might make this less upsetting for this 3 year old.

There's just no words for the uselessness of this cruelty.

If Congress fails to fight for these protections, we will only see more lawless abuse from OMB.

Federal workers who took an oath are willing to endure this painful shutdown to win those protections for the American public.
