Yeah I always found the Bama/Ohio State impacts very interesting

Always thought of the tOSU base as a much much wider fanbase, that usually had 2nd or 3rd teams

So it always seemed like they could suck up excess oxygen or be a rising tide lifting all

Meanwhile BHM is a block vote on the big game

This is great, though I would add one thing to Ben’s analysis

There’re markets that skew ratings depending on where they fall in the day

The Birmingham market in particular will show up and be #2 or #3 if Bama isn’t playing

So tv will move Bama around to either clear slate or counter program

I don't understand why U.S. reporters so regularly seem to let politicians get away with 'I haven't seen that' about stuff a) they obviously know and b) is directly relevant to their job. Did they sign some kind of agreement never to ask a follow-up question?
