There’s been some decent attack from the Sharks today. They’re able to get over the advantage line and find weak shoulders.

Bad boy Beirne 👀 hmmm I wonder if he needs another letter from his buddy Beauden
Bath good, Munster bad. Munster concede #2 and 3 while Beirne was on the bin

Andy Goode has made me switch to the French commentary. His crimes are so many.

But Andy Goode is focusing on intent, like that's a material issue here.

Either of these offences could be penalized, and with yellow. But lack of intent does not stop either of them being an offence.

Ballsy from UBB

After a rusty start to the season it could really kickstart their campaign

Rayasi was superb off the bench, and Matiu belied his age

#ChampionsCup
After leading 33-22 at HT, the Bulls lost the 2nd half 24-0!

Discipline and game management let them down, but has to be a concern that overseas teams are outscoring them in the last 40... at altitude!

UBB never stopped working, deserved win for the champs.

That’s not the right call by Brace.

Yes, Pearson’s foot is out and it hits Niniashvili, but that’s not an unnatural movement like Hastoy last week and Jordie Barrett a few weeks ago.

Also it doesn’t change that Niniashvili tackled Pearson in the air: that’s the offense that should be yellow carded

Defence has been their biggest issue for a couple of seasons.

Was interesting to see them trying to out- Bordeaux Bordeaux... and picking some tired Boks on the bench probably backfired

Players definitely scream at refs just so the ref mic can pick up what they think has been missed so the TMO (or more importantly the TV producer) can look back/replay the incident.

I don’t know what rugby can do to put this genie back in the bottle, because this behaviour is getting worse.
So the lesson we learn is that screaming at the referee works because it means the TMO will check what you’re screaming at him about

Even if it’s just a knock on.

UBB, despite an off start to their season in the Top14, showing why they won the cup last year. Lucu grew into that game massively and once he was up to speed he had everyone on that field dancing to his tune!

Bulls, that's four losses in row now 👀👀

The English sides can’t give less of a crap about away Champions Cup sides - what are these sides about to play Leinster and La Rochelle 😭

Big win for Bordeaux to control their destiny in the Champions Cup + denying the Bulls an extra bonus point + getting a decent points difference from the game. That could be the difference between hosting and traveling to a semifinal.

Bordeaux 4-8 were immense

Been happening for about 3 seasons that the Bulls finish games worse in Pretoria and it’s gotten worse with Ackerman unfortunately.

They can’t handle the high paced game that they try to play.

They’ve conceded at least 3 tries every game this season: defence is a big issue.

Not sure why Paul Stubbs is trying to bill this as a revenge game for Bordeaux players for the 2023 RWC where 1. Only 6 players from UBB were in the France 2023 team (4 from the Bulls). 2. Bordeaux actually lost to the Bulls two seasons back, which is a ton more relevant.
