2024 they anounced that all players should recieve an 8 week rest period. But it would be individualised, so player-by-player.

Pollard takes full 8 weeks over Jan & Feb but Marcell Coetzee's 8 weeks fall over the RC & CC.

I'm assuming guys like Willemse will be taking a long break over 6N.

Looks like no week off for the Springboks that featured in the Rugby Championship who are thrown into the URC. I guess the resting protocol isn’t in effect yet, because they would have a week off after an international tournament.
