My takeaway was that he was trying to get those who’ve warned of persecution to notice it happening. Though maybe that’s me reading my own sarcasm into his writing.

CPD has 20+ injured on duty this afternoon, most/all from federal use of gas. Related: no arrests by CPD, no documented uses of force by CPD. (I wasn't everywhere / didn't see every skirmish. And possibly some late-entry TRR forms to come.) Saw two federal arrests, saw one on video didn't witness.

Chaos in Brighton Park. This is representative of the amount / direction of pepper and smoke sent into the neighborhood, in this case, for no reason I can discern other than because they were leaving. Feds had a clear path out in a different direction, and residents were vocal but not violent here.

I wouldn’t have believed it before camp, but ASP is ready, and at least as good now as any depth D man he would bump. I think he’s like Razor was a few years ago: too good compared to the rest of the NHLers to assign to GR.

I knew a generation of German theologians who spoke about their membership in a national youth group that partnered with the government. Some of them loved it. Others had parents who arranged for them to be “sick” on event dates. All spoke of those as ill times.

I share this for no reason.
