I’m beyond proud of Peter Ettedgui speaking out about Farage and the vile antisemitic abuse he endured. I first heard Peter’s story nearly 20 years ago when Farage was a virtual nobody. It’s not a hit job. Just the truth

This is not a diagnosis of any adult individual.
It is simply an analysis of the behavioural pattern described, through the lens of well-established developmental research.
On behavioural grounds alone, the match to the classical CU profile is exceptionally strong.

From a risk-trajectory perspective, this pattern aligns with the “life-course-persistent” pathway: early CU traits + proactive aggression + fearless social boldness → stable antagonism, ideological rigidity, and instrumental use of power in adulthood.

A key feature of high-risk CU trajectories is stability: behaviours that occur across contexts, persist over years, and target multiple groups. According to the testimonies, this was habitual, public, and performed as part of a school persona. That’s significant.

The dehumanising content (“gas them all… even the children”) and the creative elaboration of racist songs are notable. In CU development, cruelty is often combined with dominance, identity expression, and enjoyment of shocking others. These accounts map onto that pattern clearly.

Witnesses consistently mention the absence of empathy, guilt, embarrassment, or hesitation. Instead, there is pride, theatricality, and a kind of cold amusement. This emotional flatness in the face of others’ suffering is the classical CU affective profile.

What defines CU traits isn’t just racism or aggression, but how cruelty is expressed. The accounts describe proactive, deliberate harm: selecting vulnerable targets, using prefect/cadet status to punish minority pupils, rehearsing chants, and performing Nazi salutes publicly.

A developmental-psychology reading of the school-era racist bullying accounts shows a pattern that aligns strikingly with the callous–unemotional (CU) personality subtype—the affective constellation linked to the core of psychopathic traits.

Little reminder of Farage's pro Putin tendencies....

Hopefully some media outlets may take up @eddavey.libdems.org.uk 's suggestions to probe Mr Farage a bit more on this.

Is Farage saying he chose to support the wishes of a hostile foreign govt for free? 😲

In 2021 Good Law Project went for an Orwell Prize for uncovering the Covid PPE VIP lane - an issue which helped bring down the last Government. We didn't even get shortlisted - one of the judges was a Director General under the last Government working on... the Covid response. 😂
I’m a past winner of the Orwell Prize & won partly because I exposed Vote Leave’s unlawful activities.

Michael Gove was its co-convener & refused to answer a single q. He’s now a judge of the prize & our world is truly one that Orwell would recognise
