i was so worried she would care more about the alcoholism bit than anything else and i suspect she did tho. it’s not a judgment on my part she’s just who i learned to drink and take medication from. susan’s alcoholism was obviously worse but like we all have to be careful

after she got that out of the way she was able to freak out for a little while and called herself names and said she failed me and like. she wasn’t the only one who did. but it was nice to hear from a family member - a genuine apology.

i showed my mom my autism testing report that i’d been holding off for so long because it bluntly states that a trusted adult abused me as a kid and i hadn’t talked to her about it but of course the first thing she says is disputing the blunt language stating that i suspected alcoholism on her part
