Amazônia perde área de unidades de conservação equivalente a 57 cidades de SP devido a mudanças na legislação
De 2000 a 2024, a região perdeu 87 mil km² dessas áreas protegidas. Levantamento da InfoAmazonia revela que legislação sobre proteção das unidades de conservação sofreu 60 alterações no período. Atualmente, sete propostas ainda tramitam no Congresso Nacional e na Justiça. Caso sejam aprovadas, poderão impactar mais 13.448 km².
