I say it loudly and proudly: I’m an anti-Zionist.

Analysis estimates that 4% - 14% of the world’s staple crops of wheat, rice & maize is being lost due to impact of microplastics

Crop losses could be of a similar scale to those caused by the climate crisis in recent decades

Really awful news coming out of the oil tanker collision. Thoughts with the family of the person still missing. Many thanks to the emergency services who have worked hard to get people to safety - now fast response needed to contain environmental damage

As with all the other bad stuff, they knew. They know. It’s what these companies all have in common: they knew/know their industrial process, use, toxic waste is literally killing the earth

What’s truly gobsmacking is why people think money is more valuable than stopping irrevocable & grave harm
This first estimate of the impact of microplastics on photosynthesis and crop production is gobsmacking ...

> Many millions of tonnes of crops are being lost as the world struggles to feed its growing population, the study suggests

Many things improve health outcomes, but let me tell you this:

- Treating people as less because they can’t work doesn’t.
- Giving disabled people less when disability costs more doesn’t.
- And forcing people into poverty to ‘incentivise’ work? That definitely doesn’t.

Good luck to campaigners in court contesting egregious £3bn #ThamesWater bailout loan with 9.75% annual interest rate & almost £1bn in interest payments & financial adviser fees. Thames Water pollutes💩 our waterways, keeps raising customer bills & wants to charge even more. Time to nationalise it!

1. Here are just a few of the ways in which Starmer’s Labour Party seems determined to alienate its voters and lose the next election. As they pile up, you have to keep pinching yourself and asking, “what the hell is it playing at?” 🧵

Shame on Met police LIES and shame on all political parties who oppress the TRUTH

This is why we need more @greenparty.org.uk politicians in Parliament, the Assembly, and local councils. Because they speak to truth to power and stand for justice and accountability.

You can be part of that.
The lie was once again repeated today that we had "forced through" police lines.

I'm so proud of my amazing colleague @zoegarbett.bsky.social who challenged the Met Commissioner for @pscupdates.bsky.social

Other parties keep trying to shut her down but @greenparty.org.uk will speak the truth.

Empty Dartmoor prison pays Prince William’s Duchy £1.5m a year & has another 24 years left on its lease

Charities which the Royals are patrons of also pay millions to them in rent

Make it make sense

We mourn the dead, and we fight for the living✊🏼
We don't gather to only mourn the dead and the endless destruction.

Our government has been complicit in selling arms to a country committing a genocide.

We gather to demand justice and an end to the occupation.
