Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

I'm lucky I don't have a big readership or I'd probably have to deal with people being like "hey isn't Solis/River's deal a little bit problematique perhaps" and like, maybe it is depending on how you slice it, but absolutely no one in Night Divine is completely normal and well-adjusted.

I think making and sharing things is part of the mortifying ordeal of being know, and it can be embarrassing! But you know what, I am going to be embarrassing and make my little Astra info post on Tumblr and that's fine.

I was feeling bummed out that I probably won't be finished Astra before the end of this year because I changed where the ending point is, but then I remembered this is a longform narrative with 200k+ words and I hadn't attempted a 5+ chapter story since high school. I should be nicer to myself.
