We’ve created an FAQ resource with common questions that might be raised by MPs.

Find the resource at: tinyurl.com/Bathroom-Ban...

Ask your MP to urge the government to scrap the bathroom ban.

Good on Lammy for pointing out that while he's the first black person to stand on the winning side of the despatch box, two black women have stood on the other side before. Though honestly, it should be less "congratulations" and more "about bloody time".
A historical moment in Parliament as Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy becomes the first Black person to ever answer a Prime Minister's question. 👏

Who could have predicted that what voters wanted after all were candidates with even a modicum of a spine? This was truly unknowable before today.
Save this for the next time some Terf decides to speak on behalf of all cisgender women. And the next, and the next because they don’t love facts.

I emailed Nadia Sass the wife of the man who was charged alongside the former leader of Reform Wales, Nathan Gill, & she sent me a long reply..all about Nigel Farage.

The weird thing is that I didn’t ask her anything about Nigel Farage.

Funny* isn't that the Media complain about the 15% payrise for Train Drivers over 3 years, or the 22% payrise for Doctors over 3 years.

But they ignore the 76% payrise for CEO's over the last 5 years, or the 38% payrise for Bankers in 1 year.

*Disgusting

Saw a news report yesterday about children as young as 9 being given weight loss jabs on the NHS, and I think it shows just how utterly bullshit the “lack of research into long term impacts” excuse for banning puberty blockers for trans kids really was. It’s purely ideological.

It seems that very few of those in power at our councils and at the Senedd have a disability, or a family member with one, and it shows. If they had, we'd have our pavements back overnight ✍️ Stephen Price
Chasing pavements: Can we have our streets back, please?

This is a cracking piece of investigative journalism.
And it's the kind of thing that mainstream, centralised outfits don't do enough of now.
Get off X, get into the details, people.

News in that children are now being prescribed weight loss jabs on the NHS.

@wesstreetingmp.bsky.social

Where are the trials for the use of these experimental drugs in children? How do you know it’s safe?

📢 SHOW US THE EVIDENCE 📢

All so utterly predictable and fucked up.

Here we go again ✍️

Piers Morgan is as angry about Glamour honouring trans women as he was about Eastenders showing two men kissing in 1989 and for exactly the same reason.

Kemi Badenoch is absolutely right about this.

At the time she hacked Harriet Harman's emails it was an offence carrying a prison sentence of up to five years
When I was a kid the local swimming pool (which still had slipper baths attached, tuppence for a quick bath) had one machine which dispensed a thin golden liquid with green bits in that was called “Chicken bouillon” and we all thought it was rather glamorous compared to tea or Bovril.

Friendly reminder: these are the rights we all have under the ECHR.

They're not just for a privileged few

They're for EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US

Farage gets voted down on leaving the ECHR… for now.
Ed Davey quite rightly tears a strip off him.

But really, the corrupt leader of a racist party threatening to remove our protection from abuses of power by our own government, should be the biggest red flag going.

Nigel Farage loses major vote as he's accused of 'making career by damaging UK'
Nigel Farage's call for the UK to leave the European Convention for Human Rights (ECHR) was voted down by MPs, with Lib Dem leader Sir Ed Davey branding it "un-British"

Keir Starmer, who insisted last month that leaving the ECHR “would be a profound mistake" that should be resisted at every turn, has told MPs to abstain on the Reform bill to do so
I’m told Labour MPs have been told by whips to *abstain* in the vote on Nigel Farage’s ten-min rule bill on leaving the ECHR, which has left some furious. Whips’ arguments seems to be to just ignore it. Labour MPs worry it leaves Lib Dems/Greens looking like only they care on this.

🌳 As a #NationalTrust member I’ve just voted for the recommended slate to keep out the bogus, right-wing entryists of “Restore Trust”. Anything this creep wants is bad for Britain and bad for our heritage.
🌳 If you’re a member, vote Recommended Slate now: www.nationaltrust.org.uk/who-we-are/a...
One vital reason to vote in the National Trust elections and for the NT endorsed candidates. We can't risk the Restore Trust candidates getting any influence on it.
