China banning hidden door handles? I'm all for it!

While we’re at it, let’s also ban tablet dashboards and bring back physical buttons, knobs, and levers for everything. It's safer and better in every way.

Never again wonder why Russia was willing to spend billions getting Trump into office.

The West’s choice to withhold full support for Ukraine isn’t about capability, it’s about calculation. By refusing decisive help, we prolong suffering and embolden aggression. History will judge this deliberate inaction, and not kindly.

Does Putin have pictures and videos of Trump graping children? I think so. Is Trump being blackmailed? That isn't necessary. Trump will do what you want if you just bribe him.

📉💥 When even pro-Kremlin economists admit a banking crisis on state TV, you know it’s bad. Bad debts: 19% small business, 11% corporate. In 2025, record runs and 1,700 branch closures—even after selling gold. Russia’s banking system is shaking. Another step toward collapse! Share the news!

The US could be solving this problem. We are letting Russia kill, injure, and harm people. Enabling massive human suffering — a cold winter without heat and water — is wrong in itself and will not lead to peace.

100% agree. We could, we can and we should.

#SlavaUkraini
4 years have passed, and we are 450 million EU citizens and 69 UK citizens still standing on the sidelines, telling 38 million Ukrainians they should fight 133 million Russians on their own.

We could end this war. But we don't.

I find that profoundly shameful.

📉 Putin’s war is cracking his regime. For the first time in 25 years, a Russian deputy spoke out: Russia’s economy is just 2% of global GDP, while Ukraine’s backers have 50%. Russians are angry— no victory, just economic collapse. Russia can’t win.

The US can no longer be trusted. They've become a western Russia.

Weird statement by Rutte. First, it is obviously wrong. Given time and the necessary investments, Europe can of course defend itself without U.S.
And second: Why undermine European deterrence like that? This message increases the risk that Putin will try to exploit the current fracture in NATO.
“If anyone thinks here ... that the European Union or Europe as a whole can defend itself without the U.S., keep on dreaming,” he told lawmakers on the European Parliament’s defense and foreign affairs committees. “You can't.”

The EU should stop dreaming of creating a European pillar for NATO and continue to build ties with the U.S. despite Trump, the alliance secretary-general said.

Reverence for wealth and power is what ultimately undid the US, and it remains the greatest threat to democracy everywhere.

Democracy is destroyed from below, in reverence of those above.

The problem is always excessive wealth and power.

The solution is #community, #empathy and #solidarity.

Gun advocates in the US: "He was carrying a gun, so ICE had no choice but to execute him."

The TACO cycle:

Markets want to price in TACO. But TACO only works if Trump sees stocks tank.

So we get a loop: Trump does things → nothing happens (markets already priced in TACO) → that emboldens him to do more → until markets start to think he might not TACO → stocks fall → TACO is restored.

Great week for Trump:

— Had to admit he could not attack Greenland because of NATO.

— Confused Greenland with Iceland in front of the entire world.

— Was told by Canada's PM Carney that the sane world leaders will take it from here.

— Lost his own lawyer Lindsey Halligan.

It is only Thursday.
