I also looked at what the latest @britishelectionstudy.com data tells us about the leisure activities of different party supporters, and this was the most striking comparison - Reform voters are much less likely to get their news from the BBC

Only 44% of Reform voters said they had watched BBC news in the past 12 months, compared to 61% of Greens, 65% of Tories, 69% of Labour voters and 73% of LibDems.

Was lucky enough to listen to a talk from Aardman animators a while back and one thing that stuck with me with me was this fact. I think this is an inherent thing we crave from creativity, the thumbprint of humanity on it.

A frustrated moment, a dreadful accident. A physicist is left alone, riddled with guilt. If only she could take it all back, make things right. That would mean a message sent back in time, and the laws of physics state that's not possible. But laws can be broken.

Instead of star drives, a PhD student wants to uncover the mystery of an inconsequential satellite's wobble, to her supervisor's frustration. Why can't he see it will win a Nobel Prize? Little do either of them realise quite how far her reckless enthusiasm will take her.

the terminal/flight/draft watcher daily the other day was intricate, but with weave, talk to the hand, and scrying, i got 10/12 champions, and beyond perfect on the bosses, ending on 22 hp (on my second attempt, admittedly). she's not easy to play, but really satisfying when it works

hi there! it really irritates me that it apparently has become accepted for the possessive apostrophe to be bare after a word that ends with an s that *isn't* a plural, that's not how it should work! it looks wrong! it makes the pronunciation screwy!
