I've never known anyone who was obsessed with immigration who wasn't an out and out loser and an absolute racist bigot.

I'm saying it because it's simply not said enough.

NEW: A page from Bondi's burn book. This is a list of the searches by Rep Jayapal of the unredacted Epstein files. That means the DOJ grabbed her search terms from the computers they set up for members of congress to view the Epstein files to use as ammunition. The photo is from Reuters.

One of the maddest elements of Brexit - and there are *many* - is the rewards that continue to be lavished on the blithering idiots who sold it & continue to be proved wrong about everything every day…

Exactly. I was DV cleared a few years back (was project director on deploy of infrastructure to support work involving gov data). Felt like an interview with a prurient, nosy neighbour.
A fair amount of nonsense has been written and said about the "security vetting" process for Mandelson's appointment. I wrote about what "Developed Vetting" really involves and why it's perfectly possible that it found nothing useful about Mandelson.

Trump surprised JD Vance was booed at the Olympics

Insults Italy saying it's a 'foreign country'

Says he doesn't get booed in the US

Except of course that time JD Vance was booed at the Kennedy Center 🤷‍♂️

We all live in Jeffrey Epstein's world now. That's what we can't face. It's our world. Where sexual desire for children is protected, victims receive no justice & the President of what used to be called the free world is Jeff's friend. This is Jeff's World now.

The @thetimes.com has gone the way of the @telegraph.co.uk. The @financialtimes.com is pretty much all that's left when it comes to centre-right perspectives and quality journalism.
Hey @thetimes.com what is ’racism’ - surely depicting the Obamas as monkeys is just old fashioned racism?

Starmer is apparently failing because the media say he is, his Government has delivered or has in progress 70 manifesto pledges, he's restored our reputation on the world stage, is rebuilding our relationship with Europe, he's just getting on with the job. Stop playing the media game peeps.

This is so good to watch. Why isn't the rest of Trump's government subject to humiliation by people who REALLY know what they're talking about?
If you want to FINALLY watch Scott Bessent get pinned down on specifics about the illegal money laundering operation being conducted by the Trump admin from someone who knows WTF he’s talking about, this clip is your chance. Bessent gets destroyed.

“Everyone involved pretends they had absolutely no idea.” Ian Hislop, Private Eye’s editor, appeared on Tonight with Andrew Marr to discuss the Epstein files, and the cover the Eye ran in reference to the paedophile sex trafficker all the way back in 2011.

Jeez. All these no doubt wealthy, self-entitled, utterly amoral little narcissist lickspittles are what Trump is reconstructing the US judiciary from.

It's all going to get much worse. For everyone.
Another batch of Trump's judicial nominees refused in their confirmation hearings today to publicly acknowledge that Joe Biden won the 2020 election, which annoyed Sen. Richard Blumenthal enough for him to call them "monkeys" and "puppets"

Thought exactly this earlier. Hard to see any other basis upon which a sober, reasoned man like Starmer could have been persuaded otherwise. He and Mandy hardly seem compatible personality-types

One by one, Europeans mentioned in the Epstein files who still hold political office are beginning to resign or are being forced out of office.

Meanwhile, ruled by an administration almost entirely made up of Epstein associates, the US carries on as if nothing really happened.

The Tories and Reform UK voted against it.

Don’t let anyone tell you voting Labour doesn’t make a difference 🌹
