If you campaigned for the presidency on a promise to destroy these assholes, you would win a landslide the size of FDR in 1936, when he campaigned on a promise to destroy these assholes.
Yes, Peter decided that the continued existence of our democracies isn't compatible with his desired level of personal freedom.

An absolute enemy of humanity.

The "robots are going to do all the menial work for us" future wouldn't be perilous except that it's being pushed by a billionaire class of psychopaths long-dead inside from being completely cut off from humanity, who sincerely want the rest of us dead.

Need to add a new dating criteria: no antisocial personality disorders.

Unfortunately, it seems my current screening process for this is to blunder ass-first into it.

While I worked the Victoria Bike Valet downtown, I was around a lot of people on a lot of substances. The only ones who ever physically threatened me all smelled of alcohol and had visible signs of alcohol inebriation. One was actually holding a beer can in one hand while his other held a knife.
It's so infuriating to see governments encourage the consumption of the drug most likely to result in violent crime and a whole host of other social problems, while punishing people who use other drugs.

The hypocrisy is breathtaking. Not to mention ridiculously expensive for society.

Good lord people, I'm a dirt-dwelling filth rodent, not a scientist. Do you ask a wombat about your molars? I come here to stress-smoke about climate change. You'd do it too with any sense.

it’s not necessarily that all these people in the epstein files participated in the raping of girls it’s that none of them cared and if he hadn’t been arrested and died they’d still be out there trying to be his friend

Donald Trump's sanctions on the International Criminal Court could destroy the crown jewel of our international law system — and help Benjamin Netanyahu escape justice.

Canada and Europe *can* do something about it. www.thestar.com/opinion/star...

God what a genius. And the thing of it is, this type of talent? It comes from empathy. From understanding WHY people find this funny.

Catherine O'Hara was so good because she empathized with people. We need more of her in the world.

Literally was just watching Best in Show and thinking how awful it'd be to lose Catherine O'Hara. This is brutal.

She was an inspiration, a titan of Canada and Comedy, unmatched in her sense of timing, built an encyclopedic range of diversity and scope of roles, and she will be terribly missed.

I think Doug Ford's policies are absolute shit, but I think the Left constantly underestimates his political acumen. He has a terrific sense for knowing where he can push and how much.

He's a lot more skilled at this then anyone gives him credit, while the opposition in Ontario is in disarray.

Danielle Smith's refusing to denounce the separatists meeting with the Trump admin because "a million" Albertans believe in it is the same as when Hillary Clinton rightly described the MAGA movement as deplorable.

Why are we still embracing the "legitimate grievances" bullshit?

Weird for Darren Aronofsky, a guy who campaigned for the rainforest and protested Alberta's oil sands, to go all in on a technology that lights the planet on fire just so he can produce the most dogshit visuals he can steal from online scraping.

I know, dopamine hits, etc. but this went a lot deeper for me. It was rewarding to go all the way back to the first sale, digging through old files and seeing when I was exploding with creativity (2010s especially!).

For the first time in a LONG while, I feel inspired. Thanks for indulging me.
Unironically, I would love if people liked this, because it is reminding me that at one time or another, I was capable of imagination and joy, and putting that on the page.
