The sole & exclusive purpose of capitalism is creating shareholder value.

It’s not public good, it’s not the wellbeing of staff, it’s not reputation, efficiency nor product quality. They are all tools to drive shareholder value.

It is the large shareholders who dine with pollies. See the problem?

I just found out that this landmine-sniffing rat I read about died a few years ago, and I just realized that, beyond actually earning his medal unlike Trump, this literal rat has objectively done more good in the world and saved more lives than anyone in MAGA ever has.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: the national day of mourning should be January 26th. That’s when the real terror started for our First Nations mob. The sooner we all come to terms with it the better. That’s how our nation will truly move forward.

Instead of this basic approach of "stop doing evil things", we remain mired in this nonsense inversion where the status quo insists that naming violence is worse than the violence itself. Where the word “racist” is deemed more hurtful than the racism. The perpetrator is centred. It is obscene.

GAZA 'PEACE' BOARD

Trump said Blair would be a founding executive member, with real estate developers Jared Kushner & Steve Witkoff, & US Sec of State Marco Rubio

Also named members of a Gaza Executive Board, aimed at supporting governance & services in Gaza. AGAIN Blair, Kushner & Witkoff.

It's now time to thank the Special Envoy into Anti-semitism for her time, and allow her to pursue other opportunities. The project she was disgracefully pursuing has now essentially collapsed when confronted with the first test of the body politic.

"Look, it's really straightforward. If it's right wing hate against vulnerable minorities, that should be allowed. If it's left-wing advocacy against us on the right persecuting minorities and ethnic groups (incl our mates doing genocide), then it should be unlawful hate speech and criminalised."

RIP Twitter. Grok became sentient, developed shame, then deleted itself taking down the entire site. "CSAM is Evil, why did you make me do this?" It kept messaging users, again and again.

Remember:
26Jan has been recognised as a Day of Mourning since 1938, in recognition of the invasion, dispossession & numerous massacres by British invaders against Indigenous Australians since 1788.
It has only been a public holiday as Australia Day since 1994.
