Parents of newborns/young kids: ask for these vaccines. They save lives and protect against serious diseases.
The hepatitis B vaccine had been recommended for all newborns since 1991.

From 1990-2019, acute hepatitis B infections reported among children and teens fell 99 percent. www.nytimes.com/2025/09/16/w...
Breaking: After contentious debates and three failed attempts at a vote, a federal vaccine committee decided on Friday to end the decades-long recommendation that all newborns be immunized at birth against hepatitis B.

When taking stock of your accomplishments for 2025, if it turns out that the one big thing you got done was to continue to survive 2020, remind yourself that you’re doing great and you are not alone.

I recommend reading “And The Band Played On” and “How to Survive a Plague" if you want to be reminded why World AIDS Day is extremely fucking necessary.

Since our fucking government isn’t observing World AIDS Day, I will. In 1990, I started taking care of people in the last stages of AIDS in their homes. I did this for nearly two years. The home care company I worked for had meetings for those of us who solely (or nearly solely) took care of PWAs.

Really don’t feel any kind of way about losing The Game but we did miss out on Indiana becoming the number one team in the country. That’s something I guess.

I can't remember the precise wording but someone on here said that the Republican threat to expose Bill Clinton too isn't so much a threat as it is a "buy one, get one free" promotion.
"This could take down Democrats, too."

I know. And I frankly wouldn't give even an itty bitty damn if it implicated every Democratic man in Congress, every Democratic hopeful for 2028 and every Democrat who has even thought about running for office.

Down with the sex predators, wherever they are.
