I extend my deepest condolences to the students whose lives were lost and those injured at Brown University. Nobody should have to risk their life for an education. Inaction is not an option. We must act now to end gun violence. #BrownUniversity #EndGunViolence

On the first day of Hanukkah, we’ve witnessed antisemitic violence against the Jewish community in Bondi Beach Australia. We must stand united against antisemitism, racism, Islamophobia, homophobia, nativism, and all other forms of hate. I mourn the lives loss. #PrayForPeace

EXCLUSIVE: One Saturday afternoon in October, my phone lit up with a notification.

I glanced down at the message.

“Anna, Lindsey Halligan here,” it began.

So began my text exchange with the woman who is prosecuting the president's perceived political enemies.

It’s actually really heartening to see the current cohort of “senior” scholars opening talking about unionizing.

When I was in grad school so many people I looked up to were hostile to faculty unionizing, grad student unionizing, even discussing striking.
