This sums up so many of these Dem politicians, and it's more likely than not the reason the consultant class want them nominated: because they'll be easy to bribe.

They're openly revolting against the will of their constituents. It's deliberate, and the only fitting punishment is to give the centrist candidates a shellacking so bad in the primaries that we get to hear tales of Kirsten Gillibrand cursing up a storm on the eve of the rumored midterm conferences.
