It is the same with #universities. Maybe someone in #onpoli & #onmedia should ask: why are Ontario’s core institutions structurally underfunded & why is this such a persistent problem? Are our taxes really that much lower than in every other province? #cdnpoli #cdnmedia

This sums up my view. A car is a tool. We are a family of four & have one car. We all walk, ride, take the city bus and - when travelling alone - take intercity transit. We only need one car in #ldnont. This choice is the most rationale for us based on economic, social, & health metrics.

This sums up my view. A car is a tool. We are a family of four & have one car. We all walk, ride, take the city bus and - when travelling alone - take intercity transit. We only need one car in #ldnont. This choice is the most rationale for us based on economic, social, & health metrics.

Many of #ldnont ‘s traffic problems are caused by the education system. @tvdsb.bsky.social school catchments & hours encourage parent drop offs, & @westernu.ca & @fanshawecollege.bsky.social have inadequate incentives for staff to take the bus. The fixes are cheap, only requiring political will.
