I will credit my posting about our unseasonably hot summer and fall, but today in #ldnont, for the first time in a long time, we will have seasonable weather, just one degree below the average. To keep it this way, you & I have to make good choices & push decision makers to embrace systemic change.

I agree but personal choices are part of what is going to make that shift. Currently, it appears - based on many of our choices - that no one really cares enough about this to make it happen (there are, of course, other places that can help with this, such as #cdnmedia)

I am not sure that I take it seriously enough. I make the right choices when it is convenient but have not made major shifts around frequency of travel, food choices, & even use of the internet.

Today will be 7 degrees cooler than yesterday in #ldnont, but still 5 degrees above the seasonal norm. I can’t think of the last time we had seasonal weather or when the temperature was below average. We are living through an experiment b/c you & I won’t take the #ClimateCrisis seriously.

Another lovely July day in #ldnont. We are eleven degrees above normal. I can’t help but wonder what this means for the coming winter. I am going to guess that in a week or two we just plunge through the fall. We need to be talking much more about the #ClimateCrisis.

Thinking about today’s antisemitic attack in Manchester. Too many of us are filled with hate. We must identify its sources, root them out, and extinguish their influence everywhere. Humans can be so amazing, but we all must work towards love, tenderness, & care. Hard heartedness only leads to hate.

Every year, I walk from the Kellogg’s factory back home along Dundas & Richmond to do my holiday shopping in @downtownlondon.bsky.social There are lots of great businesses. #DundasPlace continues to disappoint. It could be an amazing space, but the privileging of cars wrecks the culture. #ldnont

I spent today at the Woodland Cultural Centre as they reopened the #MohawkInstitute building to the public & we launched Behind the Bricks. It was so powerful seeing so many people at a place that was closed off from public eyes for over a century. Here are some pics.
