We had the best economy I can remember. We were respected throughout the world. We were trusted. Now there are warnings about coming to our country and we’re about to go broke because of tariffs. Only wealthy people will go about business as usual.

We have the media to thank for him. They always did interviews, then they made him into a reality TV star who looked like a nice guy, then they normalized his insanity and made sane people look like they were failing.

Collect a claim from one side, collect a claim from the other, present them both to the reader with an awkward shrug and a "who can say?"

And the photo choice -- Noem's looking down ... on what? The reverse angle showed a small crowd and a quiet street. But can't show that, it's biased to one side!

A classic case of irresponsible both-sidesism from the NYT. The story is that Trump and MAGA propagandists are lying about Portland to incite a conflict, not that there are different views of the matter.

They have been siding with Trump for decades. He was interviewed often and always an idiot blow hard. I could never understand why they ever put him on TV. I still don't.

Joe was a great president. He barely took any time off and he cared about the country as a whole not just his party. He cleaned up Trump's mess.

The media made him look worse than he ever was and they made Trump look better than he could even hope to be.
