NJ Transit is running weekend service to NY Penn on Montclair/Boonton this weekend due to a bridge replacement.

Clearly it's possible to add direct weekend service to NY Penn since Amtrak isn't doing regular work in the Hudson River Tunnels.

The National Weather Service announced that a deadly North Dakota tornado this summer has been assessed as a 5 on the enhanced Fujita scale, with wind speeds greater than 210 miles per hour. It’s the first time since 2013 that a tornado has been given the highest possible rating.
