Energy bills have increased 13% since Trump took office.

Families have paid an extra $1,200 on goods this year because of his tariffs.

Popular holiday gifts are 26% more expensive this year compared to 2024.

Remember this as Trump calls affordability a "hoax" and a "con job."

One reason why Republicans won't extend expiring ACA subsidies?

Koch-backed lobby groups have spent over $1.1M pressuring GOP lawmakers to let 20M Americans' health insurance costs go up.

Money in politics is the root of our dysfunction.

In DC, Trump officials celebrated the decimation of USAID with a sheet cake.

In South Sudan, USAID budget cuts closed a health clinic in the middle of a cholera outbreak.

Tor Top had to take his sick mother to the hospital, 8 hours away. She died on the way.

Medicare for all, paid leave, universal childcare.

Busting up big corporations and tackling Wall Street’s greed.

Getting big money out of politics.

Supporting unions and fighting for higher wages.

If Dems want to win back working people, this is the agenda they must support.

I’ve led the effort for YEARS to prohibit Members of Congress from trading stocks. That’s why yesterday I signed a bipartisan discharge petition to force a vote on the House Floor.

Enough is enough.

Trump has given up on his biggest campaign promise.

Now he mocks the cost of living crisis and calls affordability a "con job."

Meanwhile, corporations that have the power to jack up prices, suppress wages, and bust unions are laughing all the way to the bank (and funding Trump's ballroom).

well you see, in "he said, she said" journalism, it's important to bury the truth halfway down the page in a quote by an activist or academic (if you mention it at all) as easily-dismissible opinion, otherwise Republicans will get mad and insist you aren't being fair and balanced
They should have worked this part into the headline:

It's good—very good, and very important—that district courts keep issuing these 100-page rulings upholding the law. It must be incredibly dispiriting to see them overturned in a two-page, lawless, unsigned order, but please, keep them coming. They expose SCOTUS' corruption like nothing else.

This same consolidation has happened across many industries, and it’s one of the biggest reasons working people have become less and less prosperous in America the last several decades. Break up the big corporations to support small-medium size businesses and the vast majority of Americans.
Forty years ago, 90% of media outlets were spread across 50 companies.

Now, just 5 companies control 90% of the media market.

This consolidation hurts consumers and helps oligarchs. 🧵
