I'm really tired of the ice time Xhekaj has been getting. He has a great camp, is in great shape, plays better/different, and MSL treats him like its 2024/25.

I know it's about winning now, but I'm at the stage of just wanting Xhekaj to get away from MSL so he can show what he can do with 16 min.

Also, there is absolutely no mention of the rise of the far-right online that has moved the needle around support for immigration and the resulting scapegoating, which certain politicians have absolutely leaned into. Of course not. Everything is Trudeau's fault.
Just the laziest fucking analysis.

Once again, everything is Trudeau's fault here. Almost nothing about provincial culpability with international students (especially in Ontario, which got a single passing mention), nothing about the provinces' responsibilities about housing or healthcare. Nope, this was all Trudeau.
How Canada got immigration right for so long – and then got it very, very wrong
Canadian immigration was stable, popular and uncontroversial. But a series of changes after 2015 broke the national consensus, and the system

Happy Saturday morning, #Habs world.

My Saturday column on the textbook player by player rebuild that has made this exciting young team a genuine contender in the very tough Atlantic Division.

Todd: Canadiens furnish master class on an NHL rebuild
Four years in, Jeff Gorton and Kent Hughes have deftly assembled a sustainable contender with a core of smart, young high-character players.

She wants a fight with Ottawa, not a pipeline. And she’ll do almost anything — including damaging the prospects of a new pipeline — to make it happen.

Your regular reminder, aside from the performative public lying of far right authoritarians, that the GOP & the national media would have a week-long Discourse On Civility if <any Democrat> ever spoke about GOP voters/conservatives the way GOP leaders speak about Dem voters/liberals every single day

It passed 2nd reading with the support of the Conservatives, NDP, Bloc, Greens and 15 Liberals

Given the @ndp.ca's past opposition to legislation like Bill C-51, I am not sure I understand the logical consistency between these two votes

Likewise, Elizabeth May

Bizarrely, this legislation is supported by the @ndp.ca despite warnings from Canada's privacy commissioner, legal experts and sex work advocates

We aren't on the verge of an authoritarian takeover. We are in the middle of it.

But I worry people don't see the whole scheme. They just pay attention to each new daily outrage. So I went to the Senate floor to explain Trump's plan.

Here's a 🧵of the speech. It's important.

Canadians could be facing a “perfect storm” in mental health challenges due to insufficient supports and a trend of growing economic stressors—which will need to be addressed through greater federal funding.

In a fiery statement, he called her out directly stating...

And consider the market you are in as well. Will you be remembered and able to make money after your playing days are over, whether you win the championship or not? And how much will you earn in those years if you bring that championship home?

Montreal is not the same as Columbus or Florida, etc.

, Rolling Stone, posted 13 hours ago, stating, "I voted for none of this. Prominent influencers, including Theo Von, Joe Rogan, and Andrew Schulz, are starting to distance themselves from the president they helped propel to the White House," with a link to a story on rollingstone.com/politics/politics. The post includes a "REWIND" section with a headline "MANOSPHERE INFLUENCERS WHO BOOSTED TRUMP ARE NOW COOLING ON HIM" by Nikki McCann Ramirez, dated October 6, 2025, and a photo of Theo Von making a peace sign at an event in Nashville, Tennessee, on March 9, 2025.

He's not the one opening the door to separatist referendums and forever blaming Canada for everything that goes wrong in his province.
